Cricket Equipment
Serious Cricket is part of the Serious Sport Group and is one of the largest specialist cricket companies in the UK. Serious Cricket is able to offer one of the biggest ranges of cricket equipment at its stores and online, and carries huge levels of stock ready for immediate dispatch all year round.

We also currently host the online cricket equipment stores for Derbyshire, Hampshire, Worcestershire and Yorkshire County Cricket Clubs giving you complete confidence and peace of mind when ordering with us.

Cricket Coaching
Following our acquisition of the Dummer Cricket Centre in Basingstoke - a facility which boasts three recently refurbished indoor net lanes, a playing arena and a video analysis suite - Serious Cricket have taken the opportunity to expand our coaching staff. Our resident full-time team of coaches, who are all ECB Level III qualified, have been joined by Toby Radford former first class cricketer and ex-Middlesex CCC’s Twenty20 winning coach. Our coaching staff deliver a wide range of services including one-to-ones, specialist workshops, three-day courses, birthday parties and bespoke coaching programmes for clubs and schools.

Team Clothing
Serious Cricket has an ever growing team clothing department due to it’s ability to produce a complete range of quality garments with a guaranteed delivery date. It also has an embroidery company on site which allows us to speed up the production of personalised team wear. This growing reputation has seen Serious Cricket become the official clothing supplier to several schools, clubs and counties including the Kent & Berkshire Cricket Boards.

Our Staff
All of the full time staff at Serious Cricket are at least ECB Level II qualified coaches and have played cricket to above club standard. As a result, the staff are passionate about cricket but also have the knowledge and experience to expertly advise customers on any equipment and cricketing needs that they may have.

The company was originally founded by Neil Rider who has spent more than 8 years working full time in cricket in a variety of different roles. These have included working for the England & Wales Cricket Board as the Berkshire Cricket Development Officer, for Hampshire County Cricket Club as the Cricket Development Manager and Marketing Manager and he was also the Manager and Assistant Coach of the England Women’s Team between 2003 – 2007.
