Serious Cricket has recently made further determined steps towards fulfilling its aim of becoming the UK’s leading cricket coaching company with the addition of Toby Radford who led Middlesex CCC to its Twenty20 triumph in 2008. A former 1st Class cricketer with Middlesex and Sussex, Toby also represented England at youth level and has long been recognised as one of the England & Wales Cricket Board’s most respected coaches and tutors.

A further addition to the Serious Cricket coaching staff is Ross Hunter who is well-known at all levels in Hampshire firstly as a former County player and more recently as a Community Coach, serving the North District of Hampshire. The appointments of Toby and Ross brings the number of full-time Serious Cricket coaches up to five who are qualified to ECB Level 3 or higher.

This increase in Serious Cricket staff enables the company to forge exciting new coaching courses including an Elite Player’s Programme designed for the most ambitious cricketer. The syllabus majors on the fundamental areas of technical, tactical, mental, fitness and lifestyle guidance necessary to be able to take on a career choice as a professional cricketer.

There will continue to be a high-quality service of one-to-one coaching, video analysis, specialist workshops, birthday parties and three-day courses which have all proved hugely popular to cricketers of all ages and abilities looking to take their game to a new level.
